Coastland designed safety improvements at the intersection of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Lagunitas Road in the Town of Ross. The improvements, which are made possible through a federal grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), enhance the safety of the intersection through traffic and pedestrian signal upgrades, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, and roadway realignment. Coastland managed multiple subconsultants to perform the required tasks, including environmental, surveying, and traffic. The project required extensive proactive coordination with the public and Caltrans.
