Coastland teamed with Sonoma County Regional Parks to design a new and more visible entrance, trailhead and parking lot at Taylor Mountain Regional Park. The new entrance, located off Petaluma Hill Road and just south of Yolanda Avenue, includes parking for 65 cars and 15 horse trailers as well as a several picnic sites and a temporary restroom. Sonoma County Regional Parks Director Caryl Hart called this project a “milestone” in the development of the 1,100 acre park, which opened in 2013. The new entrance was dedicated and opened to the public in 2015.
