City of Wheatland - Comprehensive Drinking Water Project

Coastland | DCCM provided Grant Administration, Contract Administration, Environmental Clearance, Engineering Design, Bid and Award of Construction, Construction Management, and Inspection services on this project.

The $1.36M project involved modernization of multiple elements of the City’s drinking water system from supply to delivery, including the installation of 1,200 new water meters throughout the city, serving 3,800 people. The new water meter will improve resident's ability to monitor water use and help them identify leaks within days rather than months, as was often the case with the previous system. In addition to the water conservation elements, the project also included the rehabilitation and modernization of components of the supply system to improve system reliability.
