Project Description

The MSC Assessment District was formed pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915. Coastland | DCCM performed all assessment engineering services necessary to finance over $5.5 million of significant roadway improvements, including 1.5 miles of roadway extensions, reconstruction and overlays, three 36-foot wide arch culvert creek crossings, storm drain outfalls, utility extensions, new travel lanes and bike lanes, electrical facilities, rail crossings, median islands, lighting, traffic signals and landscaping. Coastland | DCCM later provided project management and design services for this major roadway improvement project.
