Construction Management Administrator (Santa Rosa)

Coastland seeks a dedicated administrative professional to provide support across a variety of Construction Management functions in our Santa Rosa office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an interest in municipal construction and the ability to adapt to new processes and programs. The position will involve drafting and editing construction documents, managing and filing correspondence, basic accounting functions, record keeping, and transcribing audio to meeting minutes.

Minimum Requirements: 
  • 1+ years of recent professional administrative experience in the construction industry, preferably with an emphasis on municipal projects.
  • Minimum AA degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university. Construction management classes or similar internship experience is acceptable.
  • The ability to work in a collaborative environment and interact with staff, clients, and government agencies.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • The ability to complete basic calculations related to payroll and accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, with particularly strong skills on Excel spreadsheets.
  • General knowledge of roadway and utility engineering design and construction practices and ability to interpret project plans a plus.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
  • US Citizen.
